Is there any good news in real estate for the Triad?

September 2nd, 2010 Heather DeDona No comments

Sometimes I just can’t watch the news because it puts my head in a bad place, but who could escape all of the reports on the housing numbers from July?

Hello McFly, the tax credit had just ended, give us some time.  The majority of buyers who would have bought a house in the first six months of 2010 likely did it before the tax credit expired, so obviously the numbers are going to be down as they accelerated their purchases.

There is good news though!  JOBS!  Yes, there are jobs coming to the Triad.  The job market is really the key to housing recovery so this is fantastic news.  Read more about the jobs coming to the Triad in Tony Jarrett’s blog post: Where are the Jobs in the Triad Region?

Your Library: More Than Just Books

I love going to the library especially on a rainy day.  My son and I can spend an hour or two enjoying everything there is to offer.  Every library I have been to in Greensboro and Kernersville has a kids section decorated just for them with just their size chairs and other fun things for the kiddos.
